Currently home loans are set to not show in Balances by a default setting, and not visible on the Balances Card as to not disrupt your daily use of Moneytree. However, if you would like to include your home loan(s) as a part of your Net Worth calculation, please follow the steps below.

iOS

1.On the Balances Card (orange screen) tap the Vault icon in the top right.

2.On the Vault page, tap the Bank that has your home loan account.

3.Tap on your home loan under the “Accounts”.

4.Switch the “Show in Balances” switch to on.

Once you choose to include your home loan as part of your net worth, you may find your net worth displayed as a negative number. To return your net worth to a positive number, we recommend you add a custom asset account to offset your loan value. You can do that with a “manual account”. Here’s how:

1.On the Balances Card tap the Vault icon in the top right corner.

2.Tap the “+” icon.

3.Scroll down and tap “Other Accounts”.

4.Tap “Other Accounts” to enter account name and amount.

5.You have now completed a simple offset, and your net worth will return to a positive number. You can edit your manual account each time you make a home loan payment.

Android

1.On the Balances Card tap the Contextual Menu in the top right corner, and tap “Connection Settings”.

2.On the Connection Settings page, tap the Bank that has your home loan account.

3.Tap on your home loan under the “Accounts”.

4.Switch the “Show in Balances” switch to on.
