[Important] Discontinuation of Receipt Upload Feature for Android 9 and Below Users (FAQ)

To enhance security and improve service quality, we will be discontinuing the receipt upload feature for Android OS version 9 and below, effective July 31, 2025.

  • Work plan subscribers using Android OS version 9 or below.

■ End Date

  • Thursday, July 31, 2025

■ How to Continue Using Receipt Upload

To continue using the receipt upload feature, please take one of the following actions.

  1. Update your Android OS to version 10 or higher

    • Go to Settings > System > System Update to check for updates.

  2. Switch to a device with Android 10 or higher

    • You can log in with the same account on your new device.

■ Important Notes

  • After July 31, all other Moneytree features will continue to work normally.

  • If you cannot update your OS, please consider upgrading to a newer device.

Impact on Claims Download Feature

  • Downloading expense claims that include receipts will also be affected.

  • Downloading claims without receipts will continue to work normally.

Q1: Why is the receipt upload feature being discontinued for Android 9 and below?

To meet the latest security standards and provide you with a safer, higher-quality service, we need to end support for older OS versions.

Q2: How can I check my Android version?

Open the Settings app, then go to "About Phone" or "System" > "About Phone" to check your Android version.

Q3: What should I do if I can't update my OS?

If your device cannot be updated to Android 10 or higher, please consider upgrading to a newer device. Your data will be transferred when you log in with the same account.

Q4: Will other features still work after July 31?

Yes, all other features (bank connections, budgeting tools, etc.) will continue to work normally.

Q5: Will my Work plan subscription fee change?

No refunds or fee adjustments will be made if the receipt upload feature becomes unavailable. If you wish to change your plan, please do so through the app settings.

Q6: Can I still use the Claims download feature?

You can continue to download expense claims that do not include receipts. However, downloading claims that include receipts will no longer be available after July 31, similar to the receipt upload feature.
